It's a shame that we weren't professional. We shouldn't need something to play for to avoid defeat against Swansea.

This is absolutely true. But It's also true that we really didnt have any pressure here and they were playing for their lives at home. We had bad luck too in the end. Totally hammered them...but again...nothing innit in this game. Season over already

On way back now ...I and another few thousand turned up, Everton didn't. Watching it live was bad, on tv it must have been horrendous. Flip flops and sombreo's are the order of the day at Everton now. Cases are packed and it's just a matter of where the lads are going on their jollies.

Swansea were hopeless and despite us seeing lots of the ball we created nothing; from what I remember we were lucky to get nil. To pick any positives, thought Miralles was the best of a very poor bunch and Kenny enhanced his fledgling reputation. Getting my head down now, been a long day. Awful report I know, but that's my summary of today.

..I thought RKs after match assessment was reasonable. He pretty much covered what we've highlighted about lack of creativity away from home and Kenny offering more than Holgate in the attacking third. Identifying what isn't working is good but doing something about it is the challenge.

Given the list of fit players at his disposal I don't think there's a whole lot he can do about it. Maybe nibble at the edges but nothing major. The team more or less picks itself, in a bad way.

Agreed.
Also not one aggressive runner to burst through the defensive line or down the touch line. Those type of players scare defenders to death, make things happen and draw fouls. We've missed Bolaise loads and as frustrating as Deulofeu can be, that type of player is desperately needed against these teams.
We saw in his short cameo what an aggressively attack minded player can do, well done Kenny, hope to see much more of him.
Absolutely bored stiff of watching Everton on the road.
Also want to see a few players who can drop a shoulder in and around the D and rifle a shot off. We simply do not mix it up enough.

The performance of the players was unexceptable today, I'm having none of this 7th secured season over, they get paid a horrendous amount of money, majority of the fans don't and pay their hard earn't money to watch at the ground or on tv. The players could atleast look bothered. Very unprofessional IMO.

I see people are suggesting KM as man of the match. Really? He was awful, but doesn't that just suggest the standard of our players?

Let's be honest here. Stek, not good enough. Holgate, can't cross a ball for all the tea in China, yet he's a good prospect??!!! Not good enough. Jags, terrific service, past his sell buy date. Not good enough. Williams, a disappointment all season. Good wrestling technique though. Not good enough. Calvert-Lewin, given a new contract? Really? Not good enough. Barry. Allowing the cross for the goal, simply shocking. Basic basic defending. Not good enough. Mirallas. Man of the match? Average at best. As per all season, not good enough.

So, Baines, Ross, Davies, Gana and Lukaku survive the guillotine.

I thought none of the players deserved MOM as we were simply shocking.Our play was predictable and poor,rom is one of the laziest players ive ever seen in a blue shirt unless the ball is played directly to him and ive been going since 1978,Ronnie needs to carry on getting rid of the deadwood Martinez signed and dithering,i fully expect a different performance next friday night but it does seem the players mind are on the beach,lets not forget its 1 year into a 3 year project!!! Feel for our great supporters who went there today.
