That was dire!

I realize that, because of the EL qualification rounds, there will be extra games in the summer, but I think it's a bit early to start next season's preseason, before this season is actually finished.

In 3 games we've played a top team, a middle team and a bottom team and the performance was exactly the same - Dire.
Lukaku can do one, he's nowt but a (very) rich man's Big Vic
More and more people are starting to see that Barkley isn't the diamond they thought he was.
We still haven't got any width or a proper MF, be it of 3, 4 or 5.

The more I see of King from Bournemouth, the more I like him.

The players have been in Holiday mode for a few games now. They lifted it up for Chelsea, a little, then folded like an old style deck chair - Flat when Pedro scored.
We'll go through the motions Vs Watford, we may even win.
Wenger will make an announcement, one way or the other and we will take our usual close but no cigar Emirates result

*goes out on limb; Rooney will come in, Lukaku will stay - for now.
All will be sweetness and light in Aug/Sept with a bit of sun on their backs and the Returned Rooney Bounce...then the wheels will fall off.

If the Dutch Moyes does have a shaky Autumn, it could all get very interesting.

One thing I don't want to see again is Holgate at right-back. Kenny was like a breath of fresh air when he came on - overlapping and getting in some quality delivery. Not slagging Mason, he's playing out of position, but his delivery is very poor.

Two tame shots on target against a poor Swansea outfit, not good enough. Surprising that Lookman was unused with his shoot on-site policy and his ability to offer something different.

I'm a positive person, so I'm going to concentrate on the fact that Kenny looked bright when he came on, and looked like he is capable of putting a good delivery into the box. Hopefully we see more of him before the end of the season, because Holgate is clearly a centre back.

Wow peeps... chill out... lets be honest, I cant be arsed watching anymore this season now the 'el septimo placio de Inglesia de premio' has been won, so why the feck should the players be arsed playing??

Seriously though, dont want this blip to roll over into the summer, an lose the qualifier before we have even got started (deva vu?) to undo all the good work this season... but as they say winning is a habit... hopefully losing isnt the same...

But come on, lets not get all over-reactive again.

Coz they fecking collect salary, dont they?
U go tell ur boss u wanna chill out coz u have no ambition...

They are on the beach already. The fans especially everyone travelling to south Wales deserve 100%. A few are not putting themselves in a good light for the shirt bext season

...I'm not too sure that's the case. A few have mentioned flip flops and sunglasses but I think that masks a problem we've had all season in that we rarely create chances away from home. Lots of possession again but the inability to get behind teams and make chances.

I suspect this is more about quality than tactics but we have done ok at home when sides defend in numbers against us. Generally you need players who can go past defenders or quick and accurate forward passing to get in behind teams but there is clearly a problem away from Goodison that needs addressing.
