Should have gone for the second when we were on top second half ,instead we just wanted to show boat and sit on the lead.

any of you still think you will finish higher than us? :D
Hahaha, no mate !

You've had a good season and gave us a decent game today.
It's always nice to see a club with limited resources doing reasonably well and I hope you do equally well next season.

You'll do well to hang onto your better players though, and this season is likely to be about the limit of what you can expect in the league

What was your answer in the poll by the way ?

Listen Martinez is not perfect but come on! This is not at all on Martinez.

He had Naismith warming up almost immediately after the foul. Which occurred at 60 minutes and change. There were two chances to sub one at 62 and change. The last sub opportunity was at 64 and a half and was taken incredibly quick. Considering you probably want about 5 minutes to warm up. the penalty was at 67 minutes. The ball never went out. How can he make a change. It really is amazing that someone would try to say the penalty was even the least bit on Martinez. IT WAS COLEMAN. I love Coleman but the dropped points are all on him. There is no way around it. He doesn't blatently handle the ball in the box and it is 3 points.

as a substitute you should be keep yourself warmed up the whole game just incase, so the majority of your argument falls down right there. There where a fair few times the ball went out of play between the tackle and the penalty aswell, so that's another one down.

We where trying to keep the ball far away from kone as possible which was one of our main outlets and even when he did get anywhere near it you could tell his head had gone he just kept on making silly challenges.

how he managed to even stay on the pitch is beyond me. The danger was there for all to see and yet again this season martinez waits till we get punished before he dose something about it.

coleman was at fault for the penalty, we can all agree on that but the reason why we drew was down to martinez and his lack of decision making.

I am pleased for those who are pleased. I am not pleased.
The view a couple of weeks ago that even IF we could go the rest of the season unbeaten, it has still been a bad season.

So all this 'a good point' is meaningless for me. It is a bad season. (Based on last season with a very similar squad, some of whom apparently forgot how to play in the summer)

More than anything I would like to see:
An improvement in the standard of our play, that wins games as well.
Players playing for new contracts, instead of treading water.
One or two of the fringe kids given games. There is nothing to play for this season, let us see what they can do.
Use these last few games as preparation for August and start to relax and play without fear.

Win, lose or draw, what we are watching is turgid.

The manager needs to make a public statement to the fans acknowledging the failings this season and pledge that he will fix it ready for next season. Something positive to hang on to. Just an opinion. ;)

There were 3 stoppages period (GK and 2 throws). I rewound the game and watched. None after 64 minutes, your wrong don't let facts get in the way of your argument tho. A manger never subs directly without a player warming up (ie barring injury)because itis an injury risk. Martinez has gotten plenty wrong this year but it's ridiculous when someone obviously has an agenda.

Turgid?
We played some very good stuff in periods. The goal was superbly worked and a great bit of attacking play. You cant expect to go to that place and dominate the ball.

Public statement?

Yeah, I can go along with that. I hope he walks to the centre circle last game and says: "Sorry we couldn't get anything like another record PL points total for you; I know midtable isn't great but we'll have a better go next season for you...is that alright for you, you shower of whingeing entitled ****s?"

10pts from 12 is a massive turnaround taking into account our previous run of games.
Even if we would of won today, it still wouldn't of been enough for the RM haters.
I am at a complete loss over how a good performance is seen by some as total rubbish, I am totally lost how the penalty was down to RM indecision in making changes. I can understand peoples frustration this season, but surely when you look at what we were to the change in fortunes and style of play people have got to have a balanced view. I believe now it doesn't matter what RM does in the future a core of people will hate him and decry anything he achieves, very small minded in my opinion. I hear more and more the Everton crowd is a hard crowd to please, I find this a bitter pill to swallow as we were a honest and balanced crowd, who could be critical but always fair....we need to be careful as it is not a tag we want to be saddled with.
Time for some people to put the sensible and balanced views back into play, and also remember we are not a nailed on top 4 team...
