Commentator said '' these two might not be the best sides in the PL but they're 2 of the most entertaining'' Considering we were the better and the more entertaining of the 2 teams in question, that's got me buzzing. Never thought that would be said about a Moyes team to be honest. Keep it up lads.

This is officially a good start.

the happiest i've seen the forum in a long time. we need to be more clinical definitely and we do give away a lot of clear cut opportunities at the other end. oh everton you give we a heart attack.

And we seemed to be doing our best to let them score for a bit as well.

Good result, good performance in some ways but it could have way too easily have been a repeat of our last 2 games.

Sloppy defending and no killer instinct will cost us in games where we aren't quite so dominant.

For some reason are defence looks unbeatable when we play 'big' teams though.

EG, city + spurs last season, man utd this season.

Several points to make:

1. Neville's gashness can be concealed by the rest of the team doing well. He still did very little for me and the only noteworthy thing he did happened in the RB position where he belongs.
2. Anichebe did very well but still lacks self-belief. Could be a very good player with the right support.
3. Mirallas looks good.
4. Osman at CM is not ideal.
5. Coleman offers a lot more than our other RBs going forward.

artetasfan there is a deflecton i saw it on the replay, i didn't think there was one at first like you but check the replay

and im not being negative, im just pointing it out thats all

i love the fact we smashes swansea apart.

Great performance from Everton there, 3 goals and a clean sheet will only do the team good. Mirallas looks like he's good for a lot of goals since he has great technique and desire. Coleman looks assured at right back against decent opposition and has clearly sent a message to Moyes that he can play right back and play it well. On the subject of the defence it looked like its solid self today even with two changes from the last game, it's always handy to have two international quality defenders ready to step in in Heitinga and Coleman. Howard also shown that his recent form was the exception, not the rule with a few great saves today. Fellaini, Pienaar and Baines were all their excellent selves but the most impressive play I saw today was from Anichebe. He played one of his best games for us today and shown Moyes he can lead the line for an entire game and has given Moyes a real headache for when Jelavic is back. All in all we're looking good again and with Jelavic and Gibson to come back in we should be a force, if we can get a decent amount of points on the board by Christmas who knows what might happen?

Superb Everton, gotta spend tomorrow having a family meal and watch the RS vs Utd, 99% of my family are kopites, im preparing my "Singing the blues, when Everton win and Liverpool lose" song already.
