Haha, yeah, that summed up Neville's playing as a whole.

Plus at one point I'm sure Mirallas could've passed to him from the left, but passed to the other side of the field to Coleman instead, and the pass went right in front of Neville - if that was intentional - LOL.

Anyway, very positive performance today from the Toffees. Big Vic led the line well, Mirallas has plenty of technique going forwards, Howard had a blinder and the usual suspects played great.

My only criticisms are that we should've scored more and at times we looked rather dodgy at the back.

I also want to point out how their fanbase were on the whole moaning tosspots, the ref got the vast majority of his decisions correct today. If your team is consistently fouling the opposition, you can't complain when the decisions are consistently (and correctly) going against you...

The fact that Neville did three pretty major things wrong when in def mid, yet one major thing right when at right back, tells you everything.

Good performance from everyone else, including an unexpectedly brilliant performance from Anichebe.

Neville is consistently poor at CM, even today when he did make some valuable contributions covering at right back and on day when the rest of team, with the possible exception of Heitinga, played well.


MOM for Howard.

Anichebe, Fella, Mirallas, Pienaar, Baines, Jags, Coleman also did well.

Heitinga and Osman need to do better. Neville needs to be at right back or on the bench.

Very encouraging to see Coleman at RB, even though he got himself caught out on a couple of occasions.
