Barkley on for Barry; Lookman on for Calvert-Lewin, and we may just begin to do something against a team which is still presently scared witless about its survival...

He has no desire to bully a defender; his only thought is spinning away from the defender as quickly as possible.

And that, in a nutshell, is why he's such a limited footballer. For all his talk, he has shown no willingness whatsoever to identify and work on his weaknesses since he joined us.

And in games like this - when you need to build pressure and put a team on the backfoot and exploit potential nerves - he is an outright liability, and why the truly big clubs won't touch him with a bargepole for the figures bandied about.

His goals have vastly inflated his value beyond his ability.

Mirallas and DCL have been just as bad in that front three, but they're not the ones banging on about being the best in the world, running his mouth in the media every time Belgium have a game like a coward and making out like he's bigger than the club, shushing experienced players on the pitch like he's Maradona.

So he gets it full guns from me when he plays like this - and let's face it, he plays like this the vast majority of the time. The goals have hidden many ills with him.

No, you said WE have nothing to play for but then go and compare it to what Swansea have to play for. We both have something to play for and our players should be focused enough to not care about what Swansea players have to play for

Well like you said not getting 6th place is not something I would fume about tbf. I wouldn't risk getting injured either as the holidays are coming up. Lukaku and Barkley are busy planning their next move. The keepers know they are being replaced. Season over.

Most players look like they're on holiday again perhaps Davies, Gana and Holgate exepted though Holgates crossing is poor.
Lu and Mirallas particularly poor and starting DCL away is essentially starting with 10 men.

Tell you what, I've never seen the knives out for a young player as quickly as this lad. Not aiming this just at you - the entire fan base. He's not rated at all is he

I love to see young players in the team normally. I just don't get what Koeman sees in this lad.

This game...Holgate, good defender, zero threat going forward.

Baines at fault for goal, shouldn't have let cross come in-woeful non attempt at a block.

The rest, totally forgettable, not worthy of a review and not at prem level.
