…I accept to being naive on such matters, but I’d have thought an approach wouldn’t be made blindly. I assume Moshiri has let it be known he wants to sell.

I thought when I read his end of season statement, there seemed to be less talk about getting Everton competing for major titles again (like has been said in the past)

Instead, he seemed to place more focus on 'I will deliver on my promise of the new stadium'.

Knew there was something fishy.

When the stadium is built the clubs value should triple at least

Makes no financial sense to sell the club now when you could just wait a year or two and triple the value of your asset

I guess it depends on how reliant we/Mosh are on Uzzy’s filthy lucre.

Find a buyer to pay off whatever the club owes to Mosh in loans, and agree to cover the cost of the stadium build, and leg it could be his plan.
