Is the article wrong or have I missed something? People saying these fellas are paupers, but the article seems to imply that one of these guys is worth 31 billion.
Beware what you read into that, though. Elon Musk is duking it out for the Richest Guy in the World tag and most of his worth is derived from the value of the shares he holds in Tesla; these people don’t have that kind of cash say around, that they can just dip into the piggy bank for a few hundred milly and buy Everton with it. They’ll likely seek financing, which will attract interest, which the club will almost certainly be saddled with.

We wished for a sugar daddy once and got one, and it’s been a disaster. We should be very careful what we wish for next.

Maybe. But anyone thinking that when he would have sold up post stadium build this club wouldn't be in massive debt is having a laugh.

These Yanks are scary too, of course.

We're now hoping that this lot - if they buy the club - then sell up post stadium build to a sovereign wealth fund.
Ah yes… the good guys

It'll be true.

They tried for Newcastle didn't they?

It's whether Moshiri is receptive, which it sounds like he is.

Perhaps the outcome of Usmanov's sanctions appeal could be a factor.

They'll want assurances over the FFP, possible points deduction situation. If they get that then I think it's a goer.

Can see Moshiri wanting out with a bit to show for it and these guys thinking they can squeeze more juice from the lemon.

All the pieces seem to fit.

How can you asset strip a club that's 450 million in debt ......the ground may be financed but the daily running is attrocious finance wise billions spent squad of players poor ...

Where did you pluck this figure from, Joey?

Seen a tweet that says 5 different parties interested in us.

Also seen hints at Usmanovs sactions could soon be lifted, meaning he will be back in.

Usmanov’s sanctions are being challenged in Europe, but it’s unlikely anything changes in regards to the UK

Plus, the optics of things
