Takeover bid by Peter Kenyon

Oh my word... with each day that goes by you make yourself look an even bigger fool than the day before.

Just because someone protects their anonymity and wealth, and numpties like you fall at the first hurdle of being unable to Google them doesn't mean they're potless.

It isn't beyond the wit of man to protect their privacy and wealth through institutions but, it appears clear it's beyond your mental capabilities and as such, you might be better in an institution.

Oh maybe he's just not wealthy enough to make Forbes etc. Which is certainly not what we want when we had 2 decades of a penniless owner holding us back.

This consortium stink to high heaven and you'll only open your eyes when its too late.

I would imagine that Moshiri and/or Usmanov will be doing their own 'due diligence' on any potentially interested party in buying the club.
I dont understand this logic. I am going to trust the owners I have been frustrated and want to replace will due their due diligence or have sensibly ruled out other suitors? And also that I find the Kenyon groups lack of clear finances a sign of their shrewdness in managing their assets?

This club has been possibly for sale for less than 48 hours. All of us are on a forum about every detail of Everton and no one knew that. Know we have only one consortium seriously being considered overnight, who has no sports experience and reasonable question marks and people are defending them as if they've already shown their competency or demonstrated themselves the best option against...no one else?

This is the most consequential decision for this club for possibly the next 30 years. I for one am not going to be appeased or have my frustrations with Moshiri and the board overrule doing our due diligence or raising the red flags. Especially when there is no basis of comparison of other parties and the world has not publicly known our club is for sale. That is poor process and negligent.

You don't half talk some utter tripe.

So, someone isn't listed in the Sunday Times Rich List, the FT100 or Forbes or whatever other financial journal you care to dream up and you think they're potless.

Honestly pal, you need to take a long lie down in a quiet room.

And as I've already said to @davek, I'm completely neutral over the situation where this consortium is concerned - there simply is not enough information out there for me to form an opinion just yet, so my eyes are wide open right now.

You mean the consortium headed up by Peter Kenyon, the former CEO of both Manchester United and Chelsea... and doesn't have any sports experience ?

With respect, you know next to nothing about The Esk who, as many on here know for a fact, is a highly successful and extremely well-connected businessman in his own right.
Being well connected doesn’t mean he had knowledge of Thornton’s wealth. He seems 100% sure, the same way he is 100% sure Witsel is signing for us.
