He’s extremely good at running football clubs (or was anyway).

It's an endless pit of money by faceless individuals.

But saying they don't have access to it, isnt right. They'll spend as much as necessary to sport-wash and become a global brand.

They're using the same cash to plough into Boxing/Golf/F1 and the aformentioned blue chip stocks.

Buy the dip.

We are a "historically great club" who are going through a very bad period of performance on the field and financially. We have a new dockside stadium on the way with loads of development potential.

I don't think they would be in negotiations for a takeover unless they see a clear path for ROI.

It’s the internet mate, you choose who or what you want to read and or believe or think is credible, he knows the space he inhabits and he's well able for it. Have huge time for him, always did, long before ITK or whatever…

I’ll say this though, I see a lot often putting the boot in on here, who were former sycophants trying to get close to him for a bit of ITK info, that’s worse then anything he said that never came to pass to me.

Indeed. He obviously had decent business experience and can read and interpret p&L and balance sheets, but it was the introduction of his ITK persona that made many on here look towards him as a god, while for me he was just putting a personal interpretation on items and events. We have many talented finance people on here, many ex senior business people and no doubt some actual people who know things about the club, but we only had one who tried to speak with absolute certainty without the backup. I’d like to see him back on here, but of course he’s now risen to another plane and another group of followers…

It’s a good point and one of the reasons I think Boehly will be successful at Chelsea (he’s been part of a quality ownership setup with the LA Dodgers). FSG had the previous experience of rejuvenating the Red Sox.
