Like Burnley?American owners were always seen as a negative but honestly with how football has gone in the past few years I’d much prefer us becoming a “soccer franchise” than some sports washing exercise. Very much the best of a bad situation.
It also doesn’t help that Moshiri has been an utter failure in large part because of him not getting out of his own way. Most American owners historically got very good people to run their clubs for them which is something that we desperately need.

He's said he'll pay for it,would they borrow to complete it?Hard to imagine the plans aren't a major source of the attraction (and a selling point for Mosh).
So taking a perennially midtable team investing 500 million and then struggling to survive being relegated is deemed progress? Also if he sold it wouldn't be due to the abusive fan base but his Russian sugar daddy benefactor being sanctioned for shady dealingsSo he never saw us relegated.
Glad thats cleared up.
None of them are billionaires
They're Capitalist Americans
US consortium's have form for leveraged buy outs
I for one wont be letting anyone who played a part in chasing Moshiri out the door forget what they'll have done to this once great club.
Also a proper franchise system ?Mericans are going to get the PL to develop their own global broadcast deal imo. Jib off Sky, BT etc etc, and do it themselves. $10.00 a month for any PL game you want to watch, with 100 million subscribers, worldwide, is a pretty attractive idea. As long as you get the clubs to agree, I guess.
Arsenal always spending a big old wedge too. I mean their owner is actually a billionaire like.Doing a shocking job at Liverpool
We already are, mate. They appointed Benitez, tells you all you need to know about our relationship with the organisation.Does this mean we will all be customers ?
An apparent change of tack regading player recruitment and giving a young manager with a bit of a long game plan a go.Based on what?! We just had our worst season in more than a decade, are financially hamstrung and have a terribly imbalanced squad. Green shoots?!
You don’t talk wham, you chat it.
Come on, this is basics.
