They kind of lucked in with a) how much the RS are worth to commercial brands, b) their player sales have been ridiculous allowing them to buy better for virtually nothing c) players and managers want to go there.

Remember last time all the talk was American takeover - the ITKs give it the 'it's done' and the next couple of days Moshiri bought us...

Could end up seeing another buyer come in.

In light of this, Moshiri’s email could well be seen as laying down the “I’ve done all I can” narrative, and he’s openly courting buyers.

If that’s the case, then I imagine leaking something like this is almost designed to smoke out others. I’ve always - and call me biased - been surprised that we’ve not been rumoured with more buyers. Just our luck that we’re left with the dregs when it comes to our turn.
