Only us and Villa have tried it and Villa will end up in the same mess we did.

Newcastle will only succeed by the Saudi's blowing apart FFP as they wont manage it spending £25 million on Chris Wood.

yes, in terms of challenging for anything, Europe, a cup or even title. The money is always a hot topic, but their aspirations at the start of this was to be challenging. Unfortunately they didn't have the slightest idea how to go about it.

So, in that sense, yes an absolute, total and failure.

Im not though - its universally accepted last season was crap.

The question is though which owners will come in that guarantee we'll never have a bad season again in our entire history?

Citys owners?

Villas owner is worth similiar amounts to Roman Abramovich and they finished 14th this season and 17th 2 seasons ago.

For all the hype over clubs like Brighton and Palace we've finished higher under Moshiri than most clubs outside of the "big 6" apart from Leicester and West Ham

It's not been great but many are naive in thinking it gets much better when FFP is designed to keep us in our lane.

A mate just told me part of the reason United fans hate Kenyon is down to the fact they were nailed on to sign Arjen Robben but Kenyon left for Chelsea before the deal went through. Kenyon then proceded to put in a bid worth double what United were paying for Robben and therefore Robben ended up at Chelsea.

Seems like the type of snide we need in charge.

I think you'll be disappointed to know the true meaning of bad ownership if this comes to pass. Moshiri made errors but stuck his own money in to try and resolve it.

We might end up making mistakes in future that the owners might not have the will to put their hands in their pockets to sort.

All the issues we’ve had are down to Moshiri’s horrendous decision making, lack of footballing understanding and allowing 3rd party influences to put us in a catastrophic position that almost seen us relegated.

I never knew Moshiri played 11 positions on the pitch, managed his 11 doppelgangers and signed all the players.

Almost like he's an easy scapegoat.

He hired the people culpable for those functions so ultimately the responsibility falls on him you act like he bares no influence on the club where he literally picked the players on the pitch like phantom al ghazi and iwobi. Also hired the generalissimo who mucked up things significantly. So yeah it's on him
