TEAM WAGES (Premier League) compare

Managing to get top players to sign up on a decent but not a extravagant wage but with a very high prize money bonus is win win.
But, it also means that those players can become unhappy very quickly.
Ultimately top players want to earn top money, any structure that tries to circumvent that simply will not work.
Liverpool have had three very good seasons now but that must continue for the pay as you win arrangement to work.

Best looking at 19/20 wages as it's more complete.

Everton for example for 19/20 had a wage bill of 93m but were missing DCL, Gbamin and Sidibe. Easily over 100m in total.

Sheff Utd low figure for this year is because they only have the data for 8 players. Last season they were over 12m.
John Egan was on something like 10k per week before his new contract last month. He will probably now have jumped to something like 50k per week.
Sheff Utd will have a wage explosion over the next couple of seasons if they want to keep their best players or want to buy decent new ones.

Well they've won two champions leagues and the premier league in those three years so it isn't working out to badly for them.

My mistake. Two champions league finals, one win and a league title in three years.

That was my point.
A success while you are winning but it would turn sour very quickly if you are not.

I didn't think Liverpool would win the Premiership last year so that shows you what I know.
I would say that they have largely had the same team( almost completely injury free) for three or four seasons now.
As yet they have not made any substantial addition to their squad, I feel they are already working with a very small squad and other clubs like City, Chelsea and Utd are all strengthening.

A couple of injuries to kep players and I think Liverpool could be in trouble... mind you I said this last year.
How they get so few injuries is incredible.

Wonder what the undeclared City wage bill is. No way is any U.K. club having a wage bill higher then them

that table is utter tosh

van dijk must be on at least 200k a week

i imagine allison, firmino, mane and salah are around 150-200k a week

i would imagine henderson, trent, robertson, wijnaldum and fabinsho are on around 100-150k per week
