That's horrid.

But that sounds like an isolated incident, ie not the whole lot of them. I've heard Evertonians say some awful things; there are always some rotten fans.

I like pompey fans because:

I know a lot of them, and they're all ace.
And I thought their fans were really great last season, with all the crap going on.

Coincidentally my favorite Greek side (i don't follow Greek football anyway) and i even have a kit of theirs, haha. Too bad the game was mid-december last year and couldn't go. :(

On topic : Ajax, Barca, Wolfsburg, whoever is on the TV from Argentina/Brazil and the likes; from NT - The Dutch, Germany

I think the problem with other fans is that you see the bad, and paint the rest with the same brush. Except your* own team, when you ignore the bad and think of everyone as a passionate, loyal and reasonable fan.

Sure there are differences between fans, based around the fortunes of their clubs, no doubt; every city fan I've met post-Sheikh has been incredibly hostile and arrogant. But still, I'd like to think most fans for most clubs are decent.



*I'm speaking generally here, this isn't aimed directly at you Chico, mate!

Wrexham. Due to an early encounter with a female in some little club opposite the bus station. many many many years ago.

Very random, but the word Wrexham conjures up things in my mind.

Oh aye, people are people mate. I've been to a few PAOK games and they're psychos if the truth be told.
 

Football teams I randomly like: Sheff Weds, Dundee (the other one), Cardiff,Arsenal, Southampton, Toronto FC

Hockey Teams I randomly like: San Jose Sharkes( Jumbo Joe!), Calgary Flames (Absorbing all our gash contracts), Detroit Red Wings, Washington Capitals (Mainly...if not only because of Ovie) and the Penguins (Only because of Crosby....Vancover.....gold winning goal!)
 
Ipswich (my dads team)
Qpr (just a soft spot)
Chesterfield (I was at THAT semi final)
Colchester United (long story)
Blackpool (best mates team...he's quite a happy man right now)
Athletico Madrid (fave foreign team by miles)

But if they win and everton lose it does not make up for anything.
 
Liverpool for me

Fantastic club with great traditions

Have always tried to play the way football should be played

And arguably the best fans in the world
