Teams You Randomly Like

I dont think anyone here actually likes Everton. What they do to us week in week out isn't healthy for anyone. Its like you love them so much you hate them. I think its something only an Evertonian (or just me) can understand.

(Cubs fan nods in agreement) I know exactly what you mean.

randoms: Florida State football, Samp, Atleteco Madrid, Cleveland Indians, Orlando Magic, Detroit Red Wings

non-random: Indiana basketball, Cubbies, our Blues

Everton
Spurs
Palace

(y)(y) Good man!
I have much more than a random liking for Everton. My youngest son is an Evertonian and aside from Selhurst,I've been to Goodison more than anywhere else.
Randomly like Sampdoria,Queen of the South and my local side Bath City, who are still part time and real Conference Premier underdogs.

Ah, we have an Eagle on here!

Don't know what I can put my finger on in regards to my "soft spot" for Palace. Maybe it's that whole "team with proper fans, without that small time, lower league mentality". Maybe it's that shared hatred of Millwall (although we (Leeds that is) share a hate of Man U with Liverpool and Man City, two teams I can't stand). Maybe it's just that your fans are generally sound and aren't known for being troublemakers.

Was glad to see that you pulled through after that horrible day in June, would hate to imagine what it must have been like.

Anyway, looking forward to my trip down to London next easter, a weekend in the big smoke and a visit to Selhurst!(y)

I get that with Leeds. The amount of times I've shouted at that bunch of bottlers, the amount of times they've promised and failed to deliver...but supporting a club that does these kinds of things to you is unconditional love. They may hurt you, and embarrass you, but you stand by them because you love them too much.

Anyway...carry on...

Apart from Everton, who I love devoutly of course, I do have a soft spot for Spurs.... although I do not like Harry much.

Spurs have a local rival that plays in red, and seems to get favouritism by many media establishments.
Spurs never quite get the credit they deserve.

I think in many ways Spurs are a southern version of Everton, and we are usually pretty close together in the league at the close of the season.

Other than that I also like St Helens RL club, ROI RU. (And pushing it just a little bit I can put up with Dallas Cowboys in Gridiron)

Chicago Blackhawks, supported them for about 15yrs since played Ea sports hockey in the 90's, (because they had the most fighters).

And Ross County as they have a camp site outside their ground so spent many a summer watching their pre-season training.

Blackhawks just won the stanley cup, Ross County got to the cup final, Everton to win the prem?

Bohemians, aunt lives near the ground so been there quite few times, Leeds and Juve, growing up we had Italian footie on a mon evening, everyone had a team and most were the milanese clubs

Randomly: Some of the places I've had some association with - either living or working there at some point:

Tranmere, Carlisle, Salisbury

Arsenal (mate's team - used to go to Highbury when I lived in London back in the 70s), AC Milan

also to a lesser extent: Aberdeen, Hearts (and I spose now Montrose since my house is called Montrose!)

To be fair I'm more interested in seeing those teams I dislike losing...and only Tranmere's result interests me.

Hmm

Sweeping generalisations and all that

I loved it when God kungfoo kicked that lowlife

Arsenal, the only team out of the big four I admire somewhat.

Wolves, Blackpool (love the underdog) and Fulham I will also barrack for most weeks unless they are playing us.
