Glad Djokovic didn't win, but still prefer Federer to Nadal, purely because Federer has won his 20 across a wider range of tournaments, whereas 13 of Nadal's wins have been at the French Open. He's the best clay-court player ever (by a ridiculous margin) but has only won two other grand slams in the last 8 years or so.

Please though, for the love of god can someone come along and challenge these guys? That they're still dominating well into their 30s is pretty embarrassing for the next generation of players and it's incredibly dull seeing the same two players in the final all the time.

Nadal is the goat, he's beaten Roger on all surfaces in slams, has an Olympic gold medal and a better head to head. He's also had way more injuries, is 5 years younger and still has 20 slams.

Think Nadal has a better head to head in grand slam finals than both ND and RF, he loses out on his overall head to head with ND.

I believe Rafael is the greatest of all time because he beat Roger on his favoured surface at the peak of his powers. If Nadal didn't have so many injuries he would have probably added to his tally on grass. Clay Court specialists don't tend to do well on grass seeing they are opposite sides of the spectrum, to win 2 Wimbledon's, 5 hard court slams on top is just amazing.

ND will end up with the most slams though if he stays injury free over the next few years.

Things can change in sport very quickly, especially with Thiem, Tsitsipas and other youngsters improving.

Federer's comments about Nadal being 'the king of clay': designed to try and minimize Nadal's achievement.

Nadal will win again at a Grand Slam; Federer has gone though. He'll never surpass 20 GS titles. Djokovic will win another couple GS titles at least.

The baked potato nosed royalist arse licker will be in pain right now.

It's really not though.

These three are barely human. As time goes on, people will come even more to appreciate their greatness. it's not that the next generation hasn't challenged them, it's just that these guys are so ridiculously good. Some of the points that Novak had to play in the first couple sets yesterday simply to win points against Nadal was unconscionable.

If Nadal/Novak/Fed played in the 90s, no one else would have a grand slam title except maybe Sampras would have painted enough lines at Wimbledon a year or two to scrape one.

How is him calling Rafael the King of Clay wrong?

1) He is undoubtedly the King of Clay
2) Rafael is at best the equal of Fed and Novak on other surfaces
