He gets my vote.Congrats to Nadal, one of the greatest, if not the greatest tennis champion of all time!
He’s no Phil Taylor…Long live the King! 14 Roland Garros championships is beyond the stuff of legend.
He gets my vote too, Nadal is indeed the best competitor. He is so passionate, so committed to his game, such a hard working tennis player, and most importantly he is a good and compassionate human being. I absolutely love him!He gets my vote.
It’s hard to put Rafael in perspective. Only two players have won more total slams than he has Roland Garros championships. Only 5 others have more total slams than he has away from Roland Garros, and of course nobody has more total slams than he does.
Just an amazing sportsman.
Roger had the most beautiful game I’d ever seen.
Novak has the most technically perfect game I’ve ever seen (seriously, he is what any coach would point young players to be - you can’t teach Federer or Nadal).
Rafael is the best competitor I’ve seen and his game is just something different. He’s just brutal and relentless. He’s also breathtakingly fast and for all his power also has exquisite hands.
His speech at the end was brilliant. Seems like a lovely guyI have to admit that Rudd is a very charming lad too and hopefully he will continue improving as a tennis player.
It was, he is always like that. Very humble in nature, that’s why I have always like him so much. His speech at the end was brilliant. Seems like a lovely guy
Incredible. Nadal now has as many French Opens as Sampras has Grand Slams
Such a strange argument, take away Federer and Djokovic‘s hard court slams and they are left with 9 and 8 respectfully. I don’t see the distinction.meh...overrated, dull to watch and bit of a douche. Take away his clay slams and he's on par with the likes of Lendl, McEnroe, Agassi, Wilander, Connors.
Greatest Clay player ever, i grant you. But not in the top 5 overall greatest tennis players.
Solid reply that, fair enough.Such a strange argument, take away Federer and Djokovic‘s hard court slams and they are left with 9 and 8 respectfully. I don’t see the distinction.
Equally, one could argue Nadal is unfortunate there is just the one clay slam.
Regardless he is far from a one trick pony having won them all at least 2x.
Ive been playing and watching the game for a long, long time. To me, he is the best. Saying that doesn’t diminish the greatness of Federer and Djokovic - they are undeniably all time greats - I just believe Nadal is a bit better.
It is a golden age as I think they probably are the three best to ever play.
