was on the tele yesterday the PM of one of those countries were migrants leave from on the boats etc. That Britain Is a soft touch it's why half of migrants travel through about 8 countries to get to us

How do you explain Calais where thousands of them camp out just to get here, when they are already in France?

Successive governments have failed to treat immigration holistically, they reduce it to a numbers game. The problems do come from numbers but how we manage integration is a major factor in dealing with the problem. Everyone's entitled to their culture and religious beliefs. However when you come to a country you should assimilate to some degree. All immigrants should speak the language, should be capable of contributing to the country. They should not all be herded into one area and allowed to set up mini states. I read all the complaints about the nanny state unfortunately we are being nannied about the wrong things. Have we got a national immigration plan, do we know what we are trying to achieve with our immigration policy. There are more important issues than numbers.
