How depressing that 12 Blues have voted for UKip in that poll.

Only ones offering anything alternative and are saying what people want to hear re immigration. Pretty much the biggest topic in the uk at the moment. Labour cocked up big time which they've admitted, the conservatives have ballsed up cleaning the mess up so ukip have come in and are winning the Protest vote. Whether people are blue or not is irrelevant. Not all of us are stuck in the 80s and vote in accordance or allegiance to the past. 2014 is a different animal.

Labour has screwed us over time and time again and I'm very sure Miliband is some reptilian-human hybrid from another planet. The Conservatives are a shambles and we're still spending more money on the bloody debt interest than we are on education ffs. As for the Lib Dems, they are just absolute snakes. I completely understand why people swing towards UKIP and I don't blame them. They're tired of the ineffective politicians that always get in. This is the same reason the Lib Dems got such a large number of seats last election. People wanted something different.

If u r a tru blu vote labor coz thatcha h8d scozers.

Ermmm no. Labour have destroyed a lot of working class towns, just in a different way. Their plan was to get block votes from minorities so allowed the flooding of such groups without any kind of plan for integration or regard for the people already living there.

Depends entirely on your own personal beliefs though, doesn't it. I am far more alarmed by the fact that there's still a sizeable group who will blindly vote Labour, as represented in the poll.

We've spent four years as a nation paying for Labour's thirteen years "running" the economy (using the script from Brewster's Millions as an instruction manual), and some people want to re-elect the idiots that got us into this mess? Bonkers.

It's the same cycle though. Labour screw us up, everyone votes the conservatives in. The conservatives make a mess of trying to clean up Labour's mess, everyone blames them and votes Labour in. Repeat.

A lot of people blindly vote labour in because of perceived wrongs of the past. It's time everyone moved on and voted in accordance to what's best for them and the country. I'm not saying its the Tories, but it is most certainly NOT Labour.

And that will have spoiled his ballot, making his vote worthless and probably aiding UKIP. Tell your friend he's done them a favour.
i'm sure he'll get over it, he's well aware he spoiled his ballot paper, he is not stupid!

You seem to be missing the point. If he did that because he doesn't like UKIP (which seems to be the case considering he's implying that they're Nazis) then he's only helping them get seats by not voting against them.
