British convicted murderers/rapists/robbers etc are something British society HAS to deal with as does any society. That is why we have prisons, and courts and assessors. With this case in particular all it would have taken is one quick glance at his previous convictions. I mean Christ in heaven.

Or are we fking that one off now as it's obviously preposterous because no other country in the world makes you learn their language as a pre-requisite to living there ???

Or maybe the ones that cant be arsed to learn the language arnt actually here to work in the first place.

When it comes to entering the country?

No.

Try and get into America with a criminal record. Try and get into Australia with a criminal record. Both have a system in place where your case is listened to and ultimately decided individually. And it works.
 

@Coach do you think its acceptable we let foreign criminals into our country to potentially (that's the risk we take) commit crimes over here? Do you approve of the system in place that let a murderer who served 7 years in jail into our country to what it looks like, murder again?

If he didn't kill her this doesn't change that fact. If he did, which is highly highly highly probable, then it just compounds the point. We should not be putting our population at risk in the interests of some bollocks European made human rights law.

I love this country. I just think we could better safeguard our future with an immigration system which benefits the population and doesn't put it at risk. It could be a lot better than what it is.

Youre the one that wants open unchecked immigration mate. Why for every 5 sound hard working people we get lets also let in a couple of murderers or rapists as well! GOOD RATIOZ M8.

Having it your way as we currently do more than likely got an innocent British girl murdered as well as the thousands of other criminal cases we have had to deal with due to OPEN UNCHECKED immigration.

That's the long and short of it. You can quote looney far right wing press at me all you like to try and validate your smug far left wing 'progressive thinking' self but to most people it wont wash.
