Cameron's tax cuts worth over £2k for most of top 10% earners, £500 for middle 50%, nothing for lowest earners

To be honest, these are very predictable responses. I'm not for one minute suggesting that charitable acts are a bad thing, indeed helping one another out is in built into us as human beings. I just find some of the comments here in this thread are akin to receiving help from someone and then moaning to them that what they're offering you isn't good enough for you.
Sorry I had to reply. By the way, our team plays in one of the most deprived areas in the UK! Next time your up to L4 to watch Everton, pop into a few working men's clubs pubs,or community centres, and tell them all how lucky they're are to get anything and should be thankful .Good luck.

The tax cut will be worth less for those on minimum wage than they are losing with tax credits etc being frozen.

Also it's the Lib Dems policy that he's nicked a week before Clegg would've announced it.

I lived here when I first moved to London and haven't taken a bean in welfare during that time. I think you have this perception that I'm living the high life here.

Don't the reeeeally low earners pay hardly anything in tax anyway? Like you have a personal allowance of like 11,000 per year before you have to pay. And if I'm correct people that earn between this amount and 100,000 per year get a tax break? The 2000 tax break for the top earners sounds like a lot, but they already pay 40% of their wages to the taxman in the first place?

If I'm right what are you all moaning about?

How did you feel living next to the great ill educated, unwashed, workshy, benefit grabbing masses Bruce. Did you off a few of a night when no-one was looking ?

I thought it was a good speech by Cameron, I'm not convinced about how he's going to pay for tax cuts across the board especially when he's making concrete promises about NHS etc. I hope (surprise, surprise) that he's planning to cut discretionary and social care spending. Maybe increase defence spending a little bit? Those outdated Tornadoes being sent to Syria are making me feel nauseous, I'm surprised they haven't been shot down yet haha

To be honest, I was shaking under the sheets hoping to not get shot. Joking aside though, when I lived there, the house I was in had I think 6 people in it. I was the only Brit, but all were working, and all had degrees of some kind. Then the landlord moved in a couple of young South American girls, with their two young kids, so there were eight of us in the place, with the two girls and their kids downstairs in one room. Fun times.

Swear a few episodes of eastenders have been filmed there.

There were a few episodes of the Bill shot whilst I was there. Didn't see Eastenders though.

It would be quite nice if people who'd done nasty (proper nasty) crimes abroad weren't allowed into this country. Even the most leftie-minded people would probably agree that would be a good thing.
I certainly don't want them in this country, immigration has been a concern for a while. I think it would not have been so politically toxic to deal with the immigration issue all these years if it wasn't hijacked by the xenophobic underclass who haven't worked a day in their lives and refuse to take responsibility for their sorry state. When you meet people who haven't worked for 6 years and hear them blame it on romanians or a muslim conspiracy like I have, I wish to kick THEM out of the country along with the illegal immigrants. It adds to insult to injury when they're not only spewing ignorance but using my money to do it.
