Children don't vote now.
The twist in the tale of the graph is the % of GDP. So it's possible that the biggest % spike on the graph could feasibly be the smallest real terms amount of cash. When do the banks cough up the money they were leant by the on his/her backsides tax payers?

No, indeed, the biggest voters are the elderly, so they tend to get the most sops, often at the expense of future generations that have to foot the bill. For what it's worth, I don't think the banks should have been bailed out, just as I don't think farmers should be bailed out or energy companies, or any of the other expert lobbyists that squeeze money out of the state.

I just wish people could be grown up about things as the way things are heading we'll have the kind of deadlock they have in America where both sides of the house are at polar opposites to one another and spend their entire lives screwing the other over. Hence the state breaks down.

It needs to do better.

So you want to be an immigrant then.

Can see where youre going with this derp derp.

Nothing wrong with immigration as long as people can support themselves, have a job to go to and make an effort with the local people. I'd most certainly do that. I'm not that arrogant as some of the immigrants we have over here are.

What - even if it is a job a British worker could do?

Generations have had thinking laid on for them, it's the hub of the power. Once professional thinkers/decision makers got in (politicians) they were never going to give back that liberty - they claw and scuttle chasing that little bit more.
To an extent I can understand why a couple with children couldn't be mithered with foreign policy or regulation of banking codes or international criminal law, they just want to crack on at work (if they are lucky enough to have it) bring up their kids, get them through school and try to keep a roof over their heads.
In that breath I can understand why professionals are required to take issues on ad infinitum. But the bitching from the proletariat about what they'd do, or who they dislike is the root and the fruit of the issue. When the professional decision makers(power brokers) caught on that once in there is no getting out that they could take the p1$$ for as long and as hard as they like. Expenses was the nicest tip of the iceberg.

Having the system chase each others tail means very few things change, those that are snidey enough to get high enough up the greasy pole fight to stay there long enough to cream off their own rewards then fade away into the nothingness they planned them and their children fixed for life.

With so many vested interests and blind follwers to rely upon a complete vote blackout (careful Nik) is impossible, so the other option is a block vote to a peripheral party in an attempt to upset the torylab applecart. This is miles away as the libdem protest last time round has soured so many that wanted change that either a lab vote to screw Cameron or no vote at all are the highest probabilities.

So long as the status quo pays those overseeing it it'll never change.

Opinion polls in the last week or so have shown Labour's lead whittled down to nothing or else has them behind to the Tories. So much for the Labour Party's assurances to the Scots that they wont vote Labour in 2015 and end up getting the Tories in power.

I hope Labour are wiped out in Scotland in loads of seats. I'm sure they will be. The most traitorous act that party has commited since Ramsey McDonald's cowards.

I can't wait for the day when Labour's 'core vote' wakes up to that fact.

Thing is, if Labours core support did vote, then they wouldnt get many more seats anyrate. Just bigger majorities in safe seats. By and large.

So this makes Ukips first mp.
Tory have to cosy up to Ukip to stop any more defectors, but come out against europe and with the lib dems so pro europe they cant coalition again.
Carved up voting blocks plays into labours hands but can they pull themselves together or would they coalition with the lib dems, it'd mean being more vocally pro europe - which could alienate some of the near core vote.
All said and done, we could very much do without a real Ukip challenge because apart from really only being a protest vote, should they garner any influence - the change expected on the other side of the vote could lead to some very upset voters expecting Johnny Foreigner turfed out on his ear. When that doesnt happen and it wont, I sense some potential for rioty/strike times.
