Another shocking weekend of sport.......

Everton 1 Fulham 3 - absolutely lost for words.
Canberra 20 St George 14 - being a Dragons supporter is nearly as depressing as supporting Everton
GWS 77 Hawthorn 75 - lost with the last roll of the dice

😭 😭 😭
My pies got up at least. Finished the weekend better than it could have been. Didn't see any of the Hawks game but saw that last kick. Gee that was close.

St Kilda 82 Carlton 60, another poor performance from the Blues. Our performances have been mediocre so far this year, and truth be told we were poor for most of the latter half of last season as well.

We need to lift it, or it'll be another season of disappointment. Vossys game plan is not getting the best out of the players, and a lack of a plan b is an issue as well.

Pies win after being 28 down at 3/4 time. 6 goals in a row to win the game.
I was watching the rugby league on TV because we couldn't get tickets. At half time I checked the AFL - which was 3/4 time. The Bombers looked to have it wrapped up.

Couldn't believe it when I saw the final score. Collingwood had only kicked six goals in three quarters of footy, then kicked six in the last quarter. Essendon goalless in the last quarter. That's a big effort to win the match.

Just ran over the top of them. Pies absolutely dominated them in the last.

The good news there is that Essendon lost, the bad news though is that Collingwood won!

On current form the Pies sure are flag contenders. As for Carlton i have concerns even at this early stage that this could be another wasted year.

Our next three games are against the Brisbane Lions, Western Bulldogs and Collingwood.

It was nice to see us destroy the Eagles, but those next few games will be a hell of a lot tougher imo.

Carlton 152 West Coast Eagles 44, i bet you enjoyed that @perth_blue ! Thank god we're back to winning ways again.

I felt at the start of the season that we'd finish just inside or outside of the eight. So far i see no reason to change my mind.
I would be very surprised and disappointed if we didn't finish in the 8. Definitely have a playing group worthy of doing so.

Charlie was on fire last night, absolute stormer.

Not much joy for Carlton. On a slippery slope down, need turn things around.

Collinwood looking the goods. Mihocek's goal - what a cracker

Maybe Everton have been looking in the wrong places for a striker.

As for the Hawks........😪

@Cork Evertonian Its Pies v Blues this weekend. Blues haven't been good the last few weeks, Eagles aside, but the Blues will lift to play the pies. Pies a game on top and the only team who has not played any of the bottom 3 as yet.

I think Carlton are still a few players short of being a top four/flag contending side, our performances have been poor since the middle of last year imo.

The board need to stick with Vossy no matter what happens, because the media are starting to ask questions and generally once that happens the Carlton board will go with the flow and sack the coach.

I think Carlton will lift it for the Pies, and we can play in the finals this year but if we don't, then i think the best course of action is to change up the assistant coaches and let Vossy see out his three year tenure at the very least.

Clarko has quit as Roos coach for mental health reasons. I don't know if he'll be back but the Roos have a good man in Brett Ratten to take over.

Hopefully Clarko gets well soon. There is a big racism investigation at Hawthorn, but no one should be making full judgments about anything or anyone until all the facts are out there imo.
