Clarko has quit as Roos coach for mental health reasons. I don't know if he'll be back but the Roos have a good man in Brett Ratten to take over.

Hopefully Clarko gets well soon. There is a big racism investigation at Hawthorn, but no one should be making full judgments about anything or anyone until all the facts are out there imo.
Word is that they are going to wrap up the investigation because it is going nowhere. I think Clarko comes back once it all blows over.

Pies win again. Did not get to watch alot of it while I was emptying out my house on Sunday. The bits I did see showed the Blues are a fair bit off the pace I think. Wouldn't surprise me if the Blues will be fighting it out for 8th come the end of the season.

Word is Clarko & Fagan will both be exonerated.

The Hawks have not handled this investigation well. It seems to be part of a bigger problem; the club is in a right mess from the top down.

The way Clarko was ousted is simply astonishing. A four-time premiership coach who should still be at Hawthorn.

It was nice none-the-less to have a cracking victory yesterday.

The game was over at quarter time. The Pies were in cruise control in the third and fourth quarters. With the exception of Melbourne, Carlton have some winnable games coming up, so hopefully we'll find some semblance of form and bank some badly needed points.

We still have players on our list that aren't really good enough, and we need to get better and more experienced assistant coaches to help Vossy out. Your team will be there or thereabouts when it's comes to winning the flag. So yeah well done on the win! Thankfully Leeds lost yesterday, because it was a bad sporting weekend for me otherwise!

The Blues went down dismally to the old enemy, and Cork lost to Clare in the hurling. We have Limerick the team who won four out of the last five all Irelands finals up next. Lose that and we're out of the championship for another year. In fairness though you get at least four games at the bare minimum now. Under the old format until it was changed around 20 years ago, you would be out of both hurling and gaelic football championships after losing one game!

Yeah we did control the game pretty well. We have the roos next and then the eagles. Should be easy wins but we lost to the eagles in Melbourne last year. After that we have the Demons on Kings Birthday before the bye. If we win all 3 we will be sitting comfortably on top ready for the second half of the season. Just hope we don't do an Arsenal.

My weekend was mixed. Pies had a good win with Everton getting something at the death. I follow the Celtics in the NBA and they playing woeful in the Eastern Conference finals. My weekend started well with my under 9s that I coach winning 10-0 for their first win of the year with my son kicking a few.

Hardwick looking to step down as coach.
Voss will be looking over his shoulder now.
Hardwick resigned today. He's burnt out & couldn't continue. He was going to call it quits at the end of the year but ran out of petrol. He did a terrific job lifting the Tigers out of a 37yr premiership slump.

Why is Voss now looking over his shoulder? - Because Hardwick might be interested in Carlton. No chance. Dimma might return to the game, but I doubt it will be for a while if he's cooked.

If Voss is looking over his shoulder it's because coaching the Blues has become something of a merry-go-round.

More your latter point. Fan base is concerned yet another coaching appointment isn't getting the best out of this playing group, and there is no set game plan.

With the exception of the Demons, we have winnable games against the Swans, Bombers, Suns and Hawks coming up. The crap is seriously going to hit the fan, if we lose to Essendon imo.

Interestingly, Brendan Fevola claims that the Blues top brass definitely have Hardwick in their sights.

Who knows, if things don't improve under Voss maybe they'll let Dimma catch his breath them make a move.

Will definitely if you lose to the Suns or Hawks. Swans have been terrible of late as well so if you don't win more than you lose then it will be squeaky bum time for Voss.

Sydney Swans 77 Carlton 51, the Blues lose again! Melbourne are up next and that'll probably be another defeat as well!

After that we have Essendon, Gold Coast Suns and Hawthorn. Those latter three games really are the games that Carlton dare not lose imo.

Is it the coach, is it the players or is it a combination of both of these factors? The only decent teams we've beaten since the middle of last year were the Dockers last year, and a Geelong team on a premiership hangover this year.

Can Vossy turn this situation around i wonder? To be honest with you i haven't a clue. All i know is that another season is going down the toilet sadly.
