I've only just found this thread so I'm assuming he's a Collingwood supporter. He'd have to be to think they haven't been arrogant

Well, I'm both. I've been a Carlton supporter since 1961. I was born and raised in Liverpool and have supported Everton since about
1952 when my grandad first took me to Goodison Park. My family moved to Australia in late 1960 and I'm still as passionate about Everton as I was then.

You're in good company - I think Carlton are probably the most popular among a small number who post. But strangely, they have been quiet of late

My parents moved to Australia from Liverpool in the mid 60's. I was born here but my brothers were born in Liverpool. My dad & grandad were diehard Evertonians. When the VFL was on TV dad took a liking to Hawthorn - Leigh Matthews, Don Scott, Peter Knights etc. I have followed suit with both Everton & Hawthorn even though we didn't live in Melbourne.

I've been back to Liverpool numerous times over the years & always got to as many games as I could.

I have a soft spot for Hawthorn. My mum was a Hawthorn supporter and grew up there.

Going to the Gold Coast v Collingwood game on Saturday afternoon. GC have been good of late and we only just beat them last year. Think it will be another close one.

Got to my first game of the season yesterday (I work weekends), mighty performance from Carlton to absolutely spank Port Adelaide. Good atmosphere at Marvel with the roof closed. Four wins on the bounce, can the Blues make finals?
