When the guests have gone, the dishwasher is on round three and the other half has disappeared upstairs. I can't finally make and enjoy this in a of peace.

A personal favourite of mine. An Old Fashioned, but not with bourbon, a dark rum. In this case, Pyrat from Anguilla. Have made it with plenty of rums but this one works the best, probably because it already has a teeny hint of orange on its own.

Absolutely delicious.

Did that “make your own gin” class in the Liverpool Gin Distillery last month. Made one which I aptly named Gin-gle all the way. Just putting my lad to bed then I’ll be cracking it open for a few to celebrate getting my head peppered all day.
