If we stay up Mosh Man is going nowhere when BMD is to be done in 2 years time and he'll sell us for more than double £350 million.

I agree with you on that. The Chicago Cubs and Everton are very similar, IMO. Everton with much more of a history of winning than the Cubs, but they are both very well respected in their leagues, fans always turn up no matter how bad the season is going. Etc. Like you said it could be a lot worse, but I think they would bring some stability to the club and a lot more consistency. The finances to compete at the top of the PL? Probably not and I don’t think it’s much of their style to throw cash around like it’s nothing but they know how to run a business, they aren’t billionaires by luck. The Ricketts are like a less obnoxious FSG. They bought the Chicago Cubs, cleaned out that club’s longstanding loser culture, and modernised their classic ground without destroying its character. I don’t think they have the money to compete at the top of the Premier League, but no one with clean assets will. You could do a lot worse than them.

It is true… you just don’t hear about the ones who do it very well because the bellends like Jerry Jones and Stan Kroenke and Dan Snyder get all the attention.Simply not true.
Well nobody mate, thats why we touched lucky with Moshiri, if only, well you know.It is true… you just don’t hear about the ones who do it very well because the bellends like Jerry Jones and Stan Kroenke and Dan Snyder get all the attention.
Europeans seem to expect the owner of a club to dump cash into it endlessly and never expect any kind of return on their investment. Who else would do that except barbaric nation-states and criminals laundering money?
The first step in climbing out of a hole is to stop diggingThats my concern, whoever comes next isnt gonna be propping up their mistakes out their own money, but maybe less mistakes would lead to less propping.
Bill was.
he screwed up kings dock
he tried to move is to a tesco car park
he lied about the suitability of Goodson
he failed to find investment to help his manager get to the next level
he sold Wayne Rooney
he sold the whole club to a nut job
he won nothing.
