The Americans are coming

At the time Moshiri bought the club we were strongly linked with an American buyout in fact Moshiri just seem to come from nowhere.
Does anyone remember who the yanks were that we were talking to?
Yeah, he was called John Moore (not to be confused with John Moores). I wonder what would have happened if they'd have bought us? Better? Worse?

For people saying that Americans don't have a clue, look at Liverpool. They're the best run club in the world and are owned by American sports conglomerate. Not only will they sort our financial problems out to make us operate at a profit, but we will almost certainly keep building and improving until we reach the top, if this group has the finances to do so of course.

FSG fluked out on Klopp - when he leaves you'll see FSG OUT protests again from the RS as they are tight arses.

Behave.
They also wanted to take Liverpool into the ESL and were the driving force in it.
They've made huge errors off the field and have relied hugely on the brilliance of Klopp.
Let's see how good they are when he goes.

1. They were responsible for appointing Michael Edwards though, who is head of transfers and have made brilliant decisions throughout their ownership.
2. I'd argue Arsenal are well-run now now that Arteta is proving people wrong, just look at how good their recent signings have been, not to mention their academy prospects.
3. Glazers aren't an American sports conglomerate, they're just a wealthy family. If a business was to run Everton then they'd almost more than likely know what they're doing.
4. Since Burnley's owners came in last year, they've signed Cornet, Weghorst and Nathan Collins. All three have these have been incredible signings and are far better than the players they signed before the takeover.

Klopp and I'd say Edwards have been as equally important to them. When you consider their net spend, I have to begrudgingly say they've done fantastic.

Now Edwards has gone, it'll be interesting to see if their savviness in the transfer market and commercial deals continues.

Looking at their track record I'd entrust them to find a suitable replacement. Can't believe that we've spent more than them and they are absolutely millions of years ahead of us, shows how spending money without sense not only gets you nowhere, but actually sets you back with all the debts we now owe.

Agree to an extent mate but for me FSG/Klopp is like a successful version of Kenwright/Moyes - both owners given massive help from their manager performing miracles.
