I still think they'll surprise us, think it's because I'm used to seeing them bounce back

Think they'll at least have a first innings lead

They've been so bad on turning pitches, have a look at the India series scorecards over there. This pitch is going to turn into a dust bowl, there were footmarks first over of the day.

To be honest I'm more worried with England's out of form batsmen and their ability to handle Pattinson and Siddle.

They've got no Warne's or McGrath's or Ponting's or Hayden's anymore mate (except Clarke, he's brilliant), I'm strangely not worried.

That's true, they don't have anyone that you get genuinely worried about bar Clarke

I'd personally like to see them bat the day out for the sake of the match, it'll be a 3 day affair at this rate!

Yeah I was thinking that, it could be over quick! But some sun and a long, slow, sleepy knock from Cook and Trott in the second innings will drag it out.

I love Trott when he plays like he did today, not arsed about anything, that nonplussed look on his face, and the exquisite punches through midwicket. Player.

He's a great player, unjustly criticised accross the board. Him and Cook have been England's best batsmen for the past 18 months

Clarke going last night is huge. if he was still there Oz would be massive favourites. with haddin and siddle still to come they can still reach 300 with the sun out. in a strange way I thought yesterday they had bowled England out at the wrong time, (if there is such a thing) cos it gave them a chance to be 3 or 4 down. great game, great contest.
