told you. what has happened to this england batting team? the team that was pumelling the aussies for 517/1 and two 600's in a series? they are getting out to totally abysmal deliveries. too many of them playing one day cricket?

definitely australia's day so far. thankfully they're batting line-up is even worse

awful awful wicket to give away, Bairstow still has a lot of work to do in becoming a proper test class batsman

he's one-day standard for me though, just doesn't have enough skill for tests. think they rushed the compton decision and it's back-fired so far.

Australia's day. I know Bresnan is in for his bowling but this could be a huge selection now if him and Prior can get a partnership going. This is a 550-600 pitch. Its done nothing.

I agree on Bairstow, he may yet develop as there is clearly talent there, not a compton fan though, think he had one great county season and got promoted, he's a county player for me though. I'd like to have seen James Taylor get a shot, he has test match player written through him, though Flower would probably want Ravi to get his 19th chance first

funny one that, I do think the new kid kuwaja or whatever is an inprovement on Cowen, its all about stopping Clarke getting into form really

kuwaja looked decent on his debut. but it's just a rank average batting line-up, one of the worst in test cricket alongside pakistan.

this is totally embarassing from england.

cook has somehow managed to be more negitive than strauss, 7 wickets down and a nigh****chman lolzzzzzzzzzzzzz

i really want to know why we've produced these pitches btw? beat aussies 3-1, three innings victories playing on their road like pitches. we have a much better batting line-up and a bowling attack that can bowl any team out even on the hardest pitches.

why produce these slow turning pitches just because swann is better than what they have to offer? these pitches are seemingly made for lowish scoring games which favours australia.

just my opinion anyway

he's not really convinced me over the last few months as skipper. his batting has suffered this summer as a result it seems. i know he had that great start by scoring hundreds all the time, but they weren't as massive as they were before i.e. 2011 ashes

i would have kept faith with finn if i'm honest, seems to get dropped every single bad game he has. bresnan needs a good knock to try and justify his inclusion because he's definitely a worser bowler
