Australia won the big moments to go 2 up. England finished the series much the stronger team, and played by far the better brand of cricket.

But 5 games is a long time and you need to start well. Australia didn't deserve to win the series, but 2-2 isn't that unfair a reflection either. And ultimately the record books say 2-2 and 2 even teams.

Big moments always change these 5 game series.

Lyon injury made Australia make some strange decisions imo. Think they probably win it somehow if he stays fit.

Ultimately though once England won that third test felt like there was only one winner, and Australia will be awfully relieved that it’s been the wettest July in a while.
