Errr, I don't think it's anywhere near as bad as some are saying in the past few week or two, however it's a bit one-dimensional in my eyes - where's the variety?

Broad and Anderson have been brilliant, some of the best ever, but they ain't young any more. For me, we're missing Leech
Yeah it's the same from pretty much all of them

Phil ,
The problem with the England pace attack ( yeah they aren't as good as the Aussies, who are?) is that they are all so similar. There is no point of difference, no left arm seamer , no great pace and no spinner of any note
I hated the Australia tactics in the 1st test which we should have won but in the 2nd they have been good and we have played some terrible cricket at passages in the match
This feels so inevitable.

The point I was trying to make. When they were talking about going into the Ashes without a spinner, I said to my friend that it was almost suicidal.

We're not looking able to get wickets at the rate we need, whereas Australia do. Let's not forget, they have some fairly strong batsmen too bar their tail end.

I’m watching without commentary. Do they only have 10 on the field? Surely they can’t have a sub after they forced Pope to field

Yeah, guy called Matt Renshaw.

What was interesting was that if Englands short balls to Lyon had pinged him on the head, they could have enforced a concussion substitute who would’ve been allowed to bowl

FFS, Root gone as I typed
