I haven't been watching this cause I heard we were losing, are we losing badly?
Actually , no , mate . Pup is fighting-the-good-fight , and Haddin's hanging in there . Still , we should do it in 90 overs but you played your best cricket of the game after lunch .
Not trying to be a smart-arse , but I told BigBurger that Pup was the one to watch . He said Mr. Cricket .
Pup is class .

Ho-hum . Kopites and Aussies . Seperated at birth ???

That's just so wrong. At your age and you can't spell separated. Appalling that mate.

If we win this test I'm going to laugh so hard, you'll hear me from all the way down here.

With all the dodgy decisions, the vice-like strangle hold, if the Poms can't win this one, you should give up the game now. You should burn this english side and put them in the urn. The new Ashes.

We should send out Australia A next time. Until they get bored with beating you and send out Australia B. Or the womens team. Either would get the job done me thinks.

With Aussies taking out stages in the Tour De France, winning Grand Prix's, its always a good time to be an Aussie sporting fan.

Qualified for the World Cup yet England? We've already booked the best Hotels, you might get in at the Durban Motor Inn if you hurry up and get a move on.

It was a low blow, and I suspect it will not be a proud moment at re-read.
Aus are in transition in cricket terms, that the Aus press have sharpened their sword in front of then repeatedly jabbed at Ponting is a sign that some of the old guard are no longer welcome. As for the Aus A-team, I would pay real good money to see B A out there in pads fending off deliveries from Fred.
As for the world cup, here is to a draw against one another after the group stages. Lescott 1, Baines 1, Cahill 1. (goals).

Fair play its a hell of a fightback by the Aussies lets give credit where its due but i fear in the end it'll either be too much for them and they'll lose or it'll rain like theres no tomorrow and it'll be a draw.

As for this Aussie team they broke thier own cardinal rule they didnt replace the superstars before thier sellby date (as they'd always done in the past),now wether its down to a lack of young talent thats ready to come through or not is debateable and thats not something i'm sure of.

What i do know is this current Aussie team is haveing is arse handed back to it in this test match by an at best an above average England team (we're not world beaters simple as that) so why are things going so badly wrong for them?

I dont know to be honest the only thing i will say that this Aussie test side for lords is by far the worst Aussie side i've seen since 1985,the battings solid enough but the bowling attack is very poor but then when you look at how many times those 4 bowlers have played in tests for them you have to wonder why the hell werent they picked sooner and given a run with the old guard.

I think the Aussie selectors have a lot to answer for.

Damn straight linglong.

Hussey has played the last 16 tests at an average of 30 or something. Awful.

Katich is shockingly bad.

Johnson is Z grade this series.

And how about those Umpires? Horrors.

Kid , a few points . I've got a degree , bags of O levels , 3 A levels , and I speak a couple of languages . I can spell . However , it is me mince pies which are fukd . Oversight only , McB .
As for snide decisions . Check your 06/07 Dvd cocka . Kp , Strauss , Colly , Cookie . ALL SAWN OFF . DEAL WITH IT . HUMANS MAKE MISTAKES .
As for the women's cricket thing , I'd check the scores if I were you . If we win today , we're thinking of sending out Claire and the girls at Bham .
Webber's won one race in 30 - odd . I wouldnt get too excited , lad .
The World Cup ; for a Nation who have only made it 3 times in the competition history , you dont half give it the big one . Ever won it ??? Nah , didn't think so .
Mind you , Aussies being brazen ... Quelle surprise , eh ???

Loving your posts , hombre .

Flintoff to Haddin, OUT, got him! Got him! He's out. A superb line and length, and Haddin feels for it to edge it low to Collingwood at second slip who

BJ Haddin c Collingwood b Flintoff 80 (130b 10x4 0x6) SR: 61.53

What an innings. What a misjudgement from Clarke

98.2
Swann to Clarke, OUT, bowled him! Fantastic ball! Swann tosses it up, Clarke comes down the pitch as he always does, but has yorked himself as it spins back sharply into him to knock out his off stump

MJ Clarke b Swann 136 (227b 14x4 0x6) SR: 59.91

Flintoff to Hauritz, OUT, that's out! Fullish, jagging back sharply off the seam and Hauritz lets it go, and it goes crashing into off stump

NM Hauritz b Flintoff 1 (5b 0x4 0x6) SR: 20.00

All over, the 75 yr wait for a ashes win at Lords is taken out the history records. One up in the series now!!!

Swann to Johnson, OUT, gone! That's it! A 75-year-drought ends as Swann gets one through the advancing Johnson

MG Johnson b Swann 63 (75b 9x4 0x6) SR: 84.00
