thats all right if you have a warne and mcgrath in your teamThe successful Aussie sides are all 'lads'.
Like a beer, like a scrap on the field etc.. ( Taylor, my fave opener, Waughs Etc.. )
This lot have got just a hint of that.
The successful England side had that.. Flintoff, a hungry KP..
The posh lids are great.. You need to get the mix right ..

what was he 7th choice? behind utter garbage like pattison. he's bowled well at the tail, but it's not mysterious what he's doing. Just bowling fast and full at the tailenders. maybe england should take note - but nah that would be the easy option, lets bowl half trackers and watch the 11th partnership edge it's way to a 40 partnership
Our record before and after central contracts would argue to the opposite I reckonJimmys knackered mate.. You must see that ?
The lids of the test series a few years back are all family men now..
Big difference when you consider the amount of tours.
I'm not making excuses, but I'd jib off central contracts.
Weve been dreadful at bowling to the tail for too long, agar, kumble and countless others, they all seem to hit their best scores against us, as we refuse to put a third man in

I once again agree with you..but I reckon it's created complacency within a set of well established players.
There is certainly some element of that, it doesnt help that weve picked touring squads without thinking we will ever have to use the squad, taking people like gary ballance for experience, when James taylor was on the verge of a starting place, or having rankin and finn there when they couldnt wait to bring back fatty bresnan. I'm not asking for a return to the chop and change days, but your right, it all feels a bit easy for the regular faces
I will probably have to delete this post..
But Seamus wouldn't have got a look in under Moyes if Hibbert didn't get injured..
Now he is our future..
I'd like to see a genuine quick, all be it potential, being given the chance to make mistakes and become a player..
IMO the last proper 'quick' I saw for England was Sadj mahmood.. Proper pace that..
Yeah, he will go for a few., but a game changer..

Finn, Steven
and Rankin, Boyd
why not get them in there when the ashes was lost? what the **** is tim bresnan doing there? anderson clearly needs a rest, why not rest him for the last two. These useless ****s are going to lose 5-0 anyway. The brightest spark has been the youngster stokes been given a go and being our only centurion.
