anderson and swann will be econimical, broad will also be at times. perfect base to throw in someone who at the risk of going for a few will break a partnership.

1 wicket in the tour games for tremlett, not sure what he did to merit a selection.

many a time he's been playing and i would not have picked him. tbf, he's never really let england down, but they do seem to see him as mr.relaible and he can bat once every 20 innings which seems to matter to england strangely.

hes a bits an pieces player for me, if your australia you'd love him to be in the team, rather than face the height of the other guys, him chipping in 20 runs now and again doesnt make up for being a less threatning bowler than the others, if were playing anderson and broad, which of course we will, you need a guy with genuine height and bounce in there, if bresnan plays it becomes very samey, and if the conditions dont suit us it would be a long day. The fact cook loves him just shows negitive cooks mindset is

aussies seemed to get quite lucky with their score there. Haddin could easily have gone a few times when he was starting out. I hate players like steve smith who have no technique whatsoever and hardly any talent. They just swing at virtually everything, but just have that luck about them, where edges will miss fielders and go for fours.
