How would I know what? That there were dozens of Evertonians who worked on my section?

Because I used to go to briefings with bloody loads of them, for years.
Amazing coincidence that the only two who have happened to post here in the last decade both went on to working for years in the recruitment industry. :coffee:

But that's what you're asking us to believe.

Man U must be a unique club, as I know lads and girls who work at both Goodison and the Pit.

All of them steward at the club they support and their colleagues all seem to be much the same.

Their common goal being that they want to be involved with the team they support.

Most are retired, work part time or have 2/3 jobs. Non have businesses with a 5 mil plus turnover.

Imagine the conversation :

The other stewards - " What do you do for a living mate ? "

@Keiran - " I run a successful recruitment company, with a turnover of £5.2 mil and I employ loads of staff, oh and I support Everton too "

The other stewards - The sound silence and jaws hitting the floor at the coincidence.
Added a few words at the end.

If you're an Everton fan of a certain age, there's a good chance you're at least registered, if not active, on the most popular Everton forum online, top ranked on Google search results - GOT.

Obviously, if what you're saying were true, then this fella wasn't an Everton fan at all, he was banned i'm guessing for being a Liverpool fan. And I didn't encounter any Liverpool fans working at Old Trafford.

Again, believe whatever suits you, lid - doesn't make a difference to me.

I never worked at either so I wouldn't know, but United fans were absolutely in the minority amongst the stewards at OT. Most of the stewards at Wigan didn't follow Football IIRC, being a rugby town it wasn't all that surprising.

It all really depends on where in the stadium you work, if your at the front, right near the pitch, you are supposed to stand facing to the side with one eye on the crowd, one eye on the game. If you work right at the top, at the back of the stand, or on a vomitory / stairwell then the only time you actually work more often than not is half time, and you can watch all the game. Unless you get my cushy job working on a disabled platform in which case you essentially open a door while fans wheel themselves on, watch the game, then open the door for them on the way out.

Simple as peas, and decent money for a day out and a laugh at the Football.

This is all just a repeat of the same arguments you used the last time you got pulled up over working at Old Trafford @Keiran. It's de ja vu.

Haven’t done it for years. It’s also not minimum wage either. Don’t see any wind or rain as i’ve been fortunate enough to be on a vormitory or pitch facing, getting circa £50 a game to watch the Footy for few hours wasn’t a bad gig on a weekend. All good fun.

So one of the worlds biggest clubs is stewarded by a majority of whom don’t support the team ??
