This may not be the best goal ever but if anyone who didn't see him play is wondering just how good Sheedy was then this is how good. There is a part of me still smiling from this. For just this moment and his v sign to the kop he is a legend

ha! love that. his first is disallowed, so he takes it again and with balls of steel does a panenka...from a free-kick!

Gosling's goal was pretty awesome too, mind.

What a stunning goal Mirallas's first vs West Ham was. I can't get enough of it. Our passing and movement was superlative!

Unfortunately, this video doesn't show the move from the beginning, the foreign commentary is mixed so loud we don't hear the crowd properly, and it can't even be embedded...but it's the only vid I could find of the goal...

I finally got round to watching Match of the Day, and it showed it in all its proper full glory as part of the Goal of the Season award. Lineker voted for it (like a good blue!), calling it "cultured", but Hansen & Shearer went for an RVP volley which really wasn't all that (the brutes!).

I think i'll youtube-upload our goal at some point...really for me the finest Everton goal I've seen for a loooong time.
