i always have a soft spot for kilbane's away at norwich when we threw away a 2 goal lead only for dunc to nick it near the end. was a great team goal, but then that may have only been because we didn't score many of them. loved billy's vs united and cahill's overhead. saha's in the final was a beaut as well

wish these were the days of camera angles all over the show. I was in the Kop watching this fly in from behind and just to the right of Sharpy. despite how many times I have watched this, that view is planted in my head, as well as a handful of us dancing round in a stunned kop end

Has anyone got Andy Kings goal in the FA Cup tie against Liverpool at Goodison. About I978, I think.

I loved that goal. Very similar to Sharp's goal at Anfield, from memory.

Was league match, late October
The FA cup win was varadi plus o g 1981 iirc 4th round. Very happy day!!
 
Not read the thread but the last Everton goal to get Goal of the season was that Sharpe thunderbolt at klan hq. Last seasons MOTD opening VT made note of said goal and an old program celebrating the feat.
 
And although we lost it somehow, Tim Howards against Bolton last season (11-12) was the goal scored from the longest distance in prem history.
