A well intentioned and heart in the right place nice guy, no doubt about that. But point 3 here has been a consistent message of his since the get go and back-pedalling on that a lot of late.

Point 6 would be as a prelude to his looking to join the board or C Suite in some capacity IMO.

He blocked me on Twitter when I took the P about him failing for an impersonator, pretending to be some sports/financial businessman who also was a Liverpool fan. Saying at the outbreak of covid the ground build wouldn’t start till 2025 and could even be in doubt.
And he agreed with him.

John Blain had to point out to him, the guy was a fraudster.

But I read on Twitter last night, that apparently he’s now saying Usmanov is involved

He’s already said that the club backtracked after indicating Lampard was definitely getting it, and now although Lampard is the front runner, it’s anybody’s guess.

And the way the club is, I can completely believe it.

Didn't Dan Meis come out and say he was chatting wham over his "sketch" claim. It's like he saw the design with the rest of us and frantically doodled it on a napkin so he could claim he had some insider knowledge.

You do realise bobble said on the spaces last night he still thinks Lampard will get it? He said he’s being messed around though, and you couldn’t blame him if he walked away.

Yeah he claimed he was crazy or something haha. I just don't like him trying to have blues fans on strings.
 
Bobble said we were in advanced talks with Lampard, all but done.

Then after the media said there's more interviews tomorrow, he backtracked, claiming things had changed and more meetings etc.

Fools if you believe him.

No-one offers someone the job and then decides after 4pm "I might fly into London tomorrow and interview them again. Hope they're all available?"

It's frustrating because we want to know, the simple fact is, none of us know what the meetings are for, or what stage we're upto.

Haha you do release Moshiri has form for doing this? He’s offered the job to numerous people including Rangnick, Moyes and Co and then completely back tracked. I fully believe bobble that Lampard is in ‘advanced talks’ but I also fully believe that Moshiri is a lunatic and that he’s messing Lampard about.

That's still going from almost done to 'might be'... I understand that things happen, so he get news from the club (however he does) that it's a goer and they just need to sort financial packages but they could easily disagree and the person drops out, fair enough.

This now seems we still hadn't made a conclusive decision one way or another. If you are 'ITK' you have to release the info when it is 99% done else you lose rep as we have seen on this very forum.

With respect to him, his tweet only ever said advanced talks. He never said it was done etc ??‍♂️

Either way, he wins doesn’t he ? if it is Lampard, he can say told you, etc.

If it isn’t; he can say told you Moshiri is a lunatic and backed out. ?

There are people in life that do have some small knowledge through Friends/Family working at the club. This is probably the case.

However some (I’m assuming El Bobble may be caught in this) try to exaggerate facts further based off rumours to imply they are playing an important role or have further insider knowledge.

I’m in the same camp as you, 10% is BS but the 90% basic info will be right.
