He's obviously getting stuff about players which is spot on. You cant take that away from him. But where's the info about the managerial search?

This is about as crazy as it gets in terms of a club going through that process. But maybe this feller is being a bit too conservative for some reason or other.

Call me old fashioned, but an ITK we can all count on has an idea of what's going on, even if he just hands us info in broad brush strokes to guide us (who's defo in the frame, likely timing of decision / deadline etc ) - but the bobble has merely been repeating other people's stories in that regard, and itn is THE most important issue we have on the boil.

There was a golden age of Everton ITKs - this period is a desert in comparison.

I've made no secret of it, I know of him and he's a lovely lad from a good family. He get's a hell of lot right and is clearly very well informed, from whom, i don't know, but Joyce, Fabrizio, Mcnulty etc all follow and interact with him so that speaks volumes. People say he copies journos occasionally, if anyone listened to the space that Benj Winstanley did (who seems a nice fella and well connected), he said he could of copied Jason Burt every day over new managers but didn't because it was rubbish. Fair play to him for sticking with it in my eyes, because some of the abuse levelled at him early doors was a disgrace.
