My wife proudly declared she'd won on the first race at Aintree. She actually usually does very well on the horses in terms of getting victories and places.

It's perhaps not as fantastic however when you're own putting 20p, 50p or (if she's had a drink!) £1 each way. Enjoy your £4 love.

After having his first sleep in five days, he`s refreshed and keeping one eye on the Villa v RS game.

Been a few of the oldies climbing through the hatch recently. One of them is definitely opening a dubious email or failing for a scam salesman....

Maybe we need to mock up some sort of diversion.

I found this gem of optimism and rationale thought in the Brighton preview.

The weekend is already ruined by the RS who scraped through with a late undeserved goal. Carra practically went into hysterics. We will not hear the last of this, the RS are 4th.

We haven't even played yet and apparently the weekend is in tatters. Anyway, I'm off to man the battlements.

Palace aren't doing us any favours by being absolute litter against Chelsea, 3 down inside half an hour.

I expect a combination of, that's top 4 gone, how did we not beat these, the Palace goal played a worldie against us but is rubbish again etc...
