The Ryanair to Lourdes is a particular joy. The arguments about having to book billy cans of holy water into the hold by tracksuited god botherers are quite something.

I got a flight with KLM after only using Ryanair for several years previously. I couldn’t believe the difference. Felt like business class. When I got a sweaty Gouda sandwich for free I nearly broke down in tears.
Forgot what it was like to fly without your knees touching your face and seeing staff working who didn’t look like they we’re on the verge of snapping if another customer tried arguing that they shouldn’t have to pay the luggage excess.

Tempted to get this flight just for this. One of the grimmest places I’ve ever visited Lourdes. Was starving there but couldn’t find a snack bar or anything. Ended up having to suck on a key ring of the Pope and munch on paracetamol

Yes, true. I prefer those that don’t seek recognition, for instance @magicjuan is definitely clever but you never see him giving it the big licks. But all the signs are there in his posts that he’s very bright.
He doesn’t try to look clever, but I think he almost certainly is.

I am a stubborn mule, thats my problem. So, with maths, I wasnt remotely interested in all the x,y, bollox. Sailed through 3 A levels, in stuff I liked, and then jibbed off Uni offers cos I just didnt think 3 years studying History was much point, job wise. (How wrong I was).

I genuinely didn't think adults tell people they have degrees/masters as a way to show general intelligence but here we are I guess

I’m a bit spoiled tbh Jimmy, having worked for an airline for 20 years it’s a bit of a shock to turn right on an aeroplane.

And yes a lot of people who fly are a-holes but the whole passenger experience is horrible tbf.

I have personal experience of the opposite personality trait to juan. My mothers new husband based his self worth on his possessions and qualifications which he thinks can mask the fact hes an abusive alcoholic.

So i dont put to much stock in the whole qualifications thing
