Where does that explain to me how Moyes hasent beaten Liverpool,Utd,Arsenal and Chelsea away from home in the league in 10 years

Moyes has had a great record in buying low(ish)....but let's have it warts and all: he's also had a disastrous time of it when he's been given a bit of cash in the shape of Kroldrup, Beattie, Bily (and lest we forget, Moyes was gagging to throw £9M at Rangers for Barry Ferguson's signature!!). And let's not get bogged down in his £500,000 to £2M 'pot luck' punts that end up gathering dust in cupboards around Finch Farm!

His sgning policy has to be taken in the round...not cherry picked for the Cahills, Jags and Pienaars.

Dude , theres Bullets to be fired at ALL Prem Managers , but His record is SUPERB .

All make errors but his Swoops OFTEN ,VERY OFTEN pay off ...

As I said , Coleman , the 3 in Jan , his most recent business in what 2 , 2 ana half years ..???

I aint gettin into this tho ,...

Pet peeve: media pundits who claim we spent £5.5m on Jelavic.

We didn't- Rangers revealed publicly in their accounts to their administrators that we actually paid £2.5m up front, with the rest of the £3m spread in payments over Jelavic's 4 year contract.

A) This proves what even more of a bargain it was; and

B) Kenwright hasn't given that much money to Moyes. Maybe if we could pay £5.5m up front we'd be able to afford an £8m or £10m player.

As much as i'll criticise Moyes when its deserved, when it comes to transfers very little criticism is deserved.

Its his strong point.

Which makes his weaknesses all the more frustrating at times because finsing the quality of player for the money that he does is one of the hardest parts of management.
 
One thing I'll never, ever criticise Moyes on is his overall transfer policy. It went pear shaped for a year, but generally it has been fantastic.
