I always remember a chat show about thirty years ago with Joanna Lumley of all people talking to Ali, Frazier and Foreman. It soon became clear which one had managed to retain his faculties despite a brutal career and was building a life outside the game. A positive, lively and humorous man. RIP George.

American George Foreman, one of the great second acts in sports who reclaimed the heavyweight boxing title after coming out of retirement and became a celebrated product pitchman, died on Friday at age 76, his family said.
