The Dead Thread

This hurts. RIP Ryno.
Ryne Sandberg, gone at 65.

Do they still play the blues in Chicago
When baseball season rolls around?
When the snow melts away, do the Cubbies still play
In their ivy-covered burial ground?

When I was a boy, they were my pride and joy
But now they only bring fatigue
To the home of the brave, the land of the free
And the doormat of the National League.

Are you not getting mixed up with Paul Dianno who was Maiden’s original singer on the albums. He did die last October.
its possible I am, just saw a short headline that flashed up on my news feed soon after reading Paul Mario's death, I'm nearly sure it read Paul Mario Day, always good to double and triple check these things nowadays I suppose

Paul Mario Day has died over the last day or 2. I’m was commenting on your point that there were reports of his death in October. I was merely stating that was Paul Dianno as I couldn’t remember any reports back then about Paul Mario Day.

another one gone far too young, incidentally he was reported as dead last October also, this time its for real though

Paul Mario Day, original singer of iconic band Iron Maiden, dies age 69 and remembered as a 'great vocalist'

Paul Mario Day was the original lead singer with Iron Maiden, although he only lasted a short time before he was sacked. Paul Di'Anno was employed by the band at a later date. They are 2 separate people, both having been with Iron Maiden, and now both dead ☹️
