Came across his work for the first time on Instagram about a year ago. Something very disturbing about this character. I felt a bit revolted by it to be honest. Weirdly American too.
I always wondered how he managed to get away with it being so insane. I thought it was brilliant in its madness. I've watched many a doc where producers are all over movies with "input" but for some reason they ok'd and then allowed him to do do stuff like that breakfast scene without reining him in.
