Sad news about Dean Sullivan. RIP. I indulged Brookside for a few months. Jimmy Corkhill was a great character. He was just starting teaching in it I think when I was watching. I don't think Jimmy lasted long in the role.

Top fella.

My missus is mates with his sister and I`ve met him a few times over the years, both when I was younger at Brookside do`s @marnie and later on through his sister.

Always willing to lend his name to local charities, very good company, great fun and always having massive fall outs, with whichever fella he happened to be with at the time lol
 
Was only reading he’s been I hospital again the other day, the prognosis seemed like he would be fine.
RIP, considering his lifestyle 65 was a good innings I guess.

He was never going to change, which is one of the things that made him such a character, a musical version of Ollie Reed.

Lived life how he wanted and to the full.
