The Dead Thread

Unfortunately you could kind of see it coming, of course it's a shock to read, just it wasn't as much as it should have been.

Desperately sad as we've seen him basically grow up from 14 years old. Seen his family. All his and their hopes and dreams of him becoming a star, attaining that, but then see the industry and media chew him up and spit him back out. Add in his age and his son is now fatherless and it's just really tragic.

Agreed, although you can’t really predict these things it isn’t as big a shock as it should have been. He’s been quite erratic on Social Media and gets a lot of stick for it from fans and media. It was the same with Caroline Flack, it must be difficult mentally getting constant grief everytime you open your social media, maybe this was as a result of that.

Either way, it’s sad that someone so young who had so much, has done this. Feel really sorry for his mother and his child, it must be heartbreaking.

….whilst I’m aware of One Direction, I have to admit i’ve never heard of Liam Payne but just watching the clip of his social media post from yesterday on TV news it seems such a sad waste he’s gone at just 31, younger than my own son.

We don’t know what caused the fall but he clearly had his demons. A prime example that extreme wealth, fame and good looks is no protection against health issues.
