Pretty sure that’s what I said. Is it part of local Hertfordshire heritage as well?
The Z cars theme tune is a metaphorical cage to fan‘s future aspiration, the pure jingling embodiment of “good times”, I bet Kenwright loves it. The more people stop going on about the distant past the better the club can be.

This might be unimportant in terms of the real problems we're face with at the club at the moment, but it's getting on my nerves and I have to speak out.

Over the past 12 months or so the club have placed this song down the pecking order in favour of stuff like Forever Everton and that abomination Spirit of the Blues (which, IMO, only people who are impressed by cat memes can possibly like).

Grand Old Team should rightfully be restored to being played prior to Z-Cars and immediately after any win or good/unexpected draw against a top of the table challenging team.

The fact that no longer happens is another example of the trampling down of our culture by the clueless frauds who've cratered the club in the last 7 seasons.

Play this on loud for the whole game... we don't need any other tunes given the state of us.

I do find all of them a bit…jolly. They work when we are 3-0 up and you are already working out where you are going to buy some cans from on the way home, but never found any of them rousing before kick off. And as for trying to wake Keane up when 2-0 down with a big high pitched “woooooo”.

Saddest thing is the ever reducing number of people that mutter “Sheeeeeds” when we get a free kick.
